Sumatra - Gayo

A washed Sumatra Gayo is a rare find. Most Sumatra coffees undergo wet-hulling, which produces earthy, heavy flavors. The washed process here lets the bean's natural complexity shine — delivering dark chocolate, grape jam, caramel, and praline in a cup that's rich and syrupy without the funk.

We roast this darker than most of our single origins specifically to unlock that indulgent body and sweetness while keeping the acidity low and balanced. The result is a coffee that pulls beautifully as espresso, holds up on drip, and rewards a slow pour over.
