A social enterprise is an organization that uses commercial strategies to make a social impact. We always say: we don’t hire students to roast coffee; we roast coffee to hire students.

Humphreys Street employs students who live or attend school in 1 of 5 South Nashville communities: Napier-Sudekum, Chestnut Hill, Vine Hill, Woodbine, and Wedgewood-Houston. Our production facility is located in Napier-Sudekum, where the majority of our student employees lives. Napier-Sudekum, just 1 mile from our coffee shop in Wedgewood-Houston, is an area that struggles with the effects of poverty, violence, and lack of access to resources.

We offer shipping anywhere in the US. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

We ship all of our items via USPS from Nashville, TN. Coffee and soap wholesale orders are shipped each Thursday (with exceptions for holidays and extreme weather). USPS typically takes 2-3 business days, but may take up to 10. If you do not receive your order within the anticipated time frame, please email us at info@humphreysstreet.com.

Once an order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number that you can manage through USPS.

We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept checks or money orders at this time.

Eligible items must be unused and in saleable condition, which includes undamaged packaging and a saleable coffee roasting date.

If you want to return an item, please email us at sales@humphreysstreet.com within 30 days of receiving your item to determine if your product is eligible for return.

We cannot accept returns without prior authorization. Unsolicited product returns will not be refunded. All refunds for the product price are applied to the original method of payment.

Original and return shipping costs and taxes will not be refunded. We recommend purchasing insurance on the return shipment and getting the tracking information. Please all us 10 business days to process returns.

You can cancel your order up to 1 hour after your order has been placed. In order to ensure the coffee you receive is fresh, we start roasting your coffee shortly after the order has been placed. Our strict cancellation policy is in an effort to make sure you receive the highest quality, freshest beans!

We operate in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood in Nashville at 424 Humphreys Street. We are opening a second location on Broadway in downtown Nashville in Spring 2021.
