Coconut Co-Ferment - Las Mercedes

Finca Las Mercedes is Juan Carlos Guerra's family farm in Antioquia, Colombia. Grown at a minimum elevation of 1800 meters, the unique climate present at high elevations help the coffee develop the signature quality Colombia is known for. This coffee is fermented with coconut at the farm resulting in an interesting profile. We find coconut to pervade throughout the cup as a subtle undertone with fragrant herbal notes of rosemary, and a soft silky body reminiscent of milk tea. We highly recommend this coffee as pour over and espresso.
