Geisha Nueva Granada (Guatemala)
$ 22.50
The geisha varietal of coffee is one of the most unique and exclusive coffee varieties and is known for unique flavors and sweet notes. Our Guatemala, honey processed geisha from Finca Nueva Granada creates a unique flavor profile among the rest of our wonderful origins. We taste a delicate cup, with an overall honeyed sweetness, and light berry notes. There is a silky body from start to finish with balanced acidity, similar to a quaffable wine. This is one of our highest quality coffees to date and we are so excited to be able to offer it to you!

During harvest time at Finca Nueva Granada, in the municipality of San Marcos, seasonal workers strap wicker baskets to their waists each morning, preparing to pass through the farm’s full groves, making pregnant bellies of deep red coffee cherries.
Nestled between Guatemala’s tallest volcanoes, Tajumulco and Tacana, the coffee trees at Finca Nueva Granada sit high on mountainous slopes in soil made rich by volcanic ash. After picking, employees use the farm’s spring water source to pulp the cherries, washing and grading the coffees before they are dried on patios.
