Yirgacheffe is the region every roaster knows. It’s become almost synonymous with Ethiopian coffee—but that fame comes with expectations. Roasters expect clean, tea-like, floral cups. Anything else disappoints. This coffee comes from the Yirgacheffe coffee farmers’ cooperative union in Ethiopia. Trademarked “YirgZ” by our partners, Keffa Coffee importers, the “Z” stands for zero defects — which we think is a perfect description of what makes this such a standout coffee.
