METAD believes a company is only as strong as its employees and the communities it works in. The group owns Africa’s first SCA-certified quality control lab and provides post-harvest training and health benefits to its employees. METAD’s team consists of 28 full time, year-round staff and 700 seasonal employees between their two partner stations (Gedeb and Hambela). 70% or more of their staff members are women.
